DEF along with ISOC organized the first Wireless for Communities Summit on the ocassion of 7th Manthan Awards Annual Digital Festival with the objective to build a strong case & compelling advocacy for maximizing adoption of wireless technologies for rural empowerment and enable delivery of content and services reach masses.The Summit covered major aspects of connecting rural regions of the country. These four major aspects are Licensing issues, device cost, content and provision of content at rural level.
